Get a new passport Type of Ordinary

Going out of the country? For this, you need to have a valid passport. Passport is available from any regional or regional passport office in the country.

Type of Passport
The Government of Bangladesh issues three types of passports.
১. International general passport (green)
2. Government passport (blue)
1. Diplomatic Passport (Red)

All
you need to get a passport is the first picture taken. The photo must be printed from a 'Photo Lab'. However, this picture will not be added to your passport. Also a National Identity Card or Birth Certificate, GO or NOC (if applicable) will be required.

Time and Cost
General Time (25 days) To get a passport will cost 1 Taka. However, in case of urgent need a passport is available within 5 days with a fee of Tk. Depending on the name of the national identity card or birth certificate, the prescribed money should be deposited with the bank. In addition to Sonali Bank, One Bank, Trust Bank, Bank Asia, Premier Bank and any branch of Dhaka Bank can deposit money.

See the sample form and fill out the form correctly. Photocopy the completed form 'Back to Back'. Attach the newly taken picture glue to the two sets of forms.

Then attach the original receipt of the deposit with glue on the top right side of the main form. Attach a copy of the receipt in the same way to the photocopy form.

Then verify the picture with the person mentioned in the form and complete the assigned part of the form (third page). Attach a national ID or birth certificate to the two sets of forms.

Where to submit the
departmental passport office ( bit.ly/2DI1g6l ) inevery departmental city of the country. Besides, there are regional passport offices ( bit.ly/2DVP7M2 ) in thesix districts of the country including Dhaka, Keraiganj , Jatrabari.

All passport offices are open five days a week, excluding public holidays. You can submit the completed form during office. Generally, the form is submitted from 12am to 3pm. After checking the submitted forms and papers, the employer will direct you to the next task.

These instructions will include transcribing the form information online, taking pictures, providing digital signatures and fingerprints.

When

all the work is done you will be given a 'slip' along with the possible date of issue of passport. On that date, the passport must be submitted by submitting this slip. However, the receipt of the passport on time depends on the 'Police Verification'.
